Description

Useful early 19th.c. oak press cupboard c.1810. Two door cupboard top fitted with shelves, over a base with two short drawers over one long. With attractively shaped door panels, reeded quarter columns, and bracket feet. Moulded cornice, turned handles and bone escutcheons. Original interior shelves with moulded oak front edge and an ingenious wooden latch to the left hand door. Dummy drawer fronts across the top of the base allow for extra depth of storage in the base of the cupboard top. Ideal for kitchen or bedroom storage. Excellent condition, original through. Cleaned and waxed.
