London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
Skirted with a delicious shaped apron and sinuous arm risers, the frames are punctuated with well executed, carved details of shell motifs and acanthus leaves.

Finished in an emerald green velvet with matching brocade rope and trim, the upholstery is in good order from the early 20th century with few marks consistent with considerate use. The bases are strongly webbed and sprung, the arms and back panels well stuffed and the loose cushions feather filled for maximum comfort.

A very stylish and comfortable pair of chairs presented in good antique order, ideal for immediate use or recovering should you wish.
