Description

Signed Oil painting by Michel Katzaroff. Katzaroff (Mincho) is a painter born in 1891 at Brezovo Bulgaria. He lived for a time in Vienna and then to Paris, where he died in 1953. Michel Katzaroff began painting portraits of Ludwig van Beethoven 1931. In 1946, he exhibited 36 paintings on the theme of Ludwig van Beethoven, at the Galerie de la Boétie (Paris 8th). He produced other exhibitions, but also Apris province. These tables were published as postcards at least twice: just before World War II and then in Paris in 1945-1946. The frame measures 35" by 28".
