Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The 8 day movement has a silk suspension and strikes on the half-hour and the hour. It has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff.
The case is nicely polished with a lovely patina. Tha brasswork is of very high quality with no losses.
The 5" white painted dial has black Roman numerals with a heavy cast brass bezel with key opening.
