As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this super quality heavy iron plate decorated in the Komai damascened style with the use of mixed metals such as gold and silver , the plate is nicely decorated with six outer panels of various flora surrounding a finely decorated central cartouche inset with a gilt multi character signature seal, the whole background superbly detailed in onlaid silver flowers and imperial mon upon an intricate silver weave , a delightful and increasingly rare Japanese iron plate !
