A Fine Georgian Brass-bound Oval Wine Cooler

Description

A particularly fine and impressive late 18th century George III period OVAL WINE COOLER, together with its original stand.

The oval cooler is of coopered construction with two wide bands of brass and with cast brass carrying handles to either end and is complete with its original oval (removable) zinc liner. The base is in excellent condition and retains its original brass 'barrel' castors.
