The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has an English 3/4 plate stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped 7 jewels Warranted English. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.3 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the English based watch case company Dennisons.

The front cover has Roman numerals around a small glass lens. The numerals are filled with dark blue enamel. The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. It reveals a white enamel dial with a glass lens which is in good condition. The dial is signed Coventry Made lever. The dial has faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable. Blued steel hands designed so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed … with conventional hands, it would be impossible to tell which hand was which through the small lens.
