Description

A beautiful Edwardian Period mahogany inlaid antique open bookcase by James Shoolbred & Co of London. With a pierced brass shaped gallery to the back above a solid figured mahogany rectangular top with satinwood cross banded detail and a triple reeded moulded edge. The frieze is veneered in book matched flamed mahogany and banded in satinwood, above two adjustable mahogany shelves with inlaid edges, flanked by satinwood cross banded pilasters. Having solid mahogany ends the whole supported on square tapering legs with line inlaid detail. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 48" wide x 11" deep x 44" high

Condition: This bookcase is in stunning condition, re-polished in our workshops. We have an almost identical bookcase on our website which is slightly smaller.
