Description

A handsome and superb quality Victorian mahogany cabinet bookcase. The upper section features an overhung dentil cornice above two glazed doors flanked by reeded and acanthus carved pilasters and opening to reveal an arrangement of three adjustable shelves. This is raised on a cabinet base with two drawers with fine hand-cut dovetail joints, bevel edge fronts, and original brass handles, above two bevel edge panelled doors opening to reveal a single shelf, and raised on a plinth base.

Condition & Details of Restoration:
This item is in excellent original structural condition. The polish has been revived by our own polishers, by hand in the traditional manner. There are minor old marks underneath the polish; we feel the photographs are representative.
