A Mahogany Early Victorian Period Antique Wellington Chest

Description

A mahogany Early Victorian Period antique wellington chest. With a rectangular mahogany figured top above an arrangement of five graduating mahogany cedar lined drawers with oval turned mahogany drawer pulls, flanked by channelled pilasters, the right hand hinged pilaster acting as the locking mechanism, with an ingenious sliding carved roundel to conceal the key hole. With mahogany veneered sides, the whole supported on a mahogany veneered plinth. English circa 1840-1850

Condition: This Wellington chest is in superb condition, cleaned and waxed
