Superb Victorian Extending Dining Table 4 Leaves

A Very Good Victorian Extending Dining Table in Mahogany with four original extension leaves, the top has very well figured timber and the unusual feature of a band of inlay with circular stops to the perimeter of the top. The table has an extra leg in the middle for added strength, it stands on bulbous turned legs with superb brass castors with an unusual patent design. The condition is excellent being fully restored and French Polished to our high standard, can be used with any combination of 1, 2, 3, or all 4 leaves or even without any leaves in place.

Underneath the table top is a very interesting paper label listing most of the towns this table has resided starting with Wakefield in 1863 to Leeds in 1898, it was removed recently from Leeds University.
