Description

An elegant photograph frame in sterling silver topped with a pretty ribbon and bow mount. The silver is hallmarked for the highly sought-after Chester assay office and the year 1916, together with the makers mark for Stokes and Ireland Ltd.

The backing and folding easel is made from Oak, the easel stand being a replacement. The frame overall measures 4 3/8" wide x 6 3/4" tall to top of bow; the glazed aperture measuring 5 1/4" x 3 1/2".

Excellent condition.
