Antique Silver Gem Set Box.

Description

Glorious silver box with enamel, pearl and gem set lid/cover.This rectangular box is on four ball feet and has fine scroll engraved decoration to the sides, and pale lemon gilding to the interior. The cover is of a rich blue enamel background with pierced latticed work overlaid to protect it. The latticed work is richly set with a fine blister pearl to the centre, and emeralds and garnets to the edges. Wonderful craftsmanship, in pristine condition, this good sized box is a real joy!
