Pair of Antique Upholstered Club Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Very comfortable pair of original antique English club armchair that have just been completely re-upholstered in a neutral linen fabric. They have coil sprung backs & seats, plus new feather cushions. The turned feet are also original & are slightly ebonized with original porcelain casters underneath. The finish on the feet is a little marked with age, but we have touch them up a bit, so they look fine. I would say these chairs date from around the 1900-1920's period. The frames are very sturdy & these armchairs will last a lifetime, not 5 years like the new varieties.
