Description

This antique chest on chest has lovely slim proportions & is fine quality. I would date this piece to around the 1890's period & it's in really good condition. The front is flame mahogany & the pattern runs beautifully through all the drawers. The drawers are graduated in depth & they have the original brass handles, which are naturally aged. The drawers are finely dovetailed, with solid wood drawer bottoms & locks in all the drawers. There is a dental moulding around the top. The top section has canted corners & the base sits on elegant splayed feet. This tallboy comes apart into two sections.
