Description

Thomas Dane of LONDON: a good looking early 19th century mahogany weight-driven WALL CLOCK in perfect working order.

The case is of mahogany, of good colour, with a solid moulded bezel; long trunk door with "flame" veneers and a convex pedimented base. The movement is of eight-day duration, weight driven with original pendulum; blued steel 'spade' hands and signed to the 13inch diameter dial. 42ins (132cms) high overall.

* Thomas Dane is recorded working in Oxford Street, London 1790-1830.
