Description

A very good writing table in the Queen Anne style. Well made in solid walnut with stunning burr walnut veneers. Of serpentine shape , the top fitted with a sumptuous black leather writing surface, with blind Greek key decoration. There is a an arrangement of one long central drawer, flanked by two deeper drawers, all fitted with their original brass handles and locks (keys supplied). All standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved detailing to the knees and terminating in ball and claw feet. This desk is finished to the rear so it could be free standing within a room if required. We have had this item sympathetically repolished to a very high standard , and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
