Description

Gents 1950s 14 ct gold filled Eterna-Matic wrist watch.

The watch has an automatic movement, calibre 1247 UC, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. The serial number is 4165385 which dates the watch to 1957. The movement is stamped Eterna-Matic watch co, 17 jewels, adjusted two 2 positions, Swiss.

The watch measures 33.8 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The is stamped Eterna, 14k gold filled L&K. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1950s piece.

The plastic lens is in nice condition.

The dial has the five ball bearings logo with Eterna-Matic belowwith Swiss at the bottom. The dial is in its original finish there is some wear and discolouration but it has lots of vintage charm. Dauphine style hands, centre seconds.

A new brown leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box (not Eterna).
