Antique Silver Omega Pocket Watch

Antique silver Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. The movement is signed Omega, and it has the serial number 4836843 which dates it back to around 1915 - 1916. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has the Omega name and also images of various medals won.

The watch measures 48.6 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside the inner and outer case back and the Omega logo to the outer case back. Originally there was rose gold wash detail around the case back and also around the bezel but a lot of this has worn off over the years. The case is in nice condition with only the odd small "ding" to the outer edge.

The watch lens is plastic and and has the odd minor mark but overall it is in nice condition.

The enamel dial is signed with the Omega name. The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has a later hour hand although vintage.
