Atropos Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
This cabinet is made entirely of mahogany and is only the second such that I have handled in a very long career of buying, restoring and selling collectors cabinets. Brady always used the finest quality materials in the production of his pieces, this one is unusual in that even the panelled back is constructed of solid mahogany, a small detail but significant to oficionados of the subject. I have handled one other which resides with the leading u.k. Collector.
All twenty drawers run smoothly and I believe the cabinet has had little use and probably only one owner in it's life. All the 'brady' characteristics are present and it is complete with it's original bun feet.
