Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

The urn has survived with its pineapple topped lid, it has huge Rams Horn handles on either side while the front and back have death scenes, with Putti and a falling soul
The original finish of the urn is not obvious, I can see some red substance next to the iron ( red oxide perhaps) and the general overall colour is very ages and weatherworn green which changes in colour when it is wet

This is a very heavy piece it is not easy to move and may require some strong help or lifting equipment to place it in your garden
