A Good Quality Gold Plated Pocket Watch, 1920s

Description

A very nice quality antique gold plated pocket watch.

The watch has a high grade stem-winding movement with perlage detail, jewelled pallets and a Breguet spiral hairspring, all very good signs of quality. The movement is working nicely and is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is the Moon model by the English based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is gold plated. The front is in good condition while the back has some indentations but not too detrimental.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.

The white enamel dial is also in splendid condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
