The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped Selex, 7 jewels, Swiss made.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The inner dust cover is inscribed H.J.Rowsell, 28. 10. 34. The case has a couple of minor "dings" to the back but overall it is in good condition and the engine turned detail to the back of the case is still nice and crisp.
The watch lens is plastic and is in good condition.
The white enamel dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
