To the top of the case is a quiver of arrows and a bow. The cream enamel dial is decorated with delicate floral swags and is fitted with the original finely fretted gilt brass hands.
The French movement is by A. D. Mougin and is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!
Condition of the case is very good, the gilding is beautifully clean and bright with some wear and discolouration. The marble has a good finish with some minor discolouration and some nibbles to the edges, particularly to the marble drum. The dial is also in excellent condition just some tiny nibbles next to the winding holes.
Complete with original pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
