A superb original antique French clock by the renown maker Vincenti. Three cherubs hold the clock aloft with the sunburst pendulum visible, gently swinging below. It is modelled in the round so ideal as a desk or table clock. It is very well made of gilded metal with a white marble base.
The French movement is by Vincenti and is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Gilt sunburst pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!
Condition of the case is very good, the gilding is beautifully clean and bright with some wear and discolouration. The marble has some nibbles to the edges and some discolouration. The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage.
Complete with original pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
