Description

Shahsevan tents were elaborately decorated with all kinds of utilitarian weavings including this charming tent hanging. In excellent condition, I estimate this was woven around 1900.

Length of band excluding braided tie-cords = 1.80m (5' 11").

Width of woven band = 14cm (5.5")

Depth from top to bottom of tassels = 92cm (3').
