Antique Mini Khorjin (Saddle-bags), Shahsevan Nomads, Azerbaijan.

Description

This lovely pair of mini saddle-bags (khorjin) were woven by Shahsevan nomads during the second half of the 19th century. They are complete albeit in rather used condition but nevertheless, charming and authentic. All the colours are vegetable and condition is reflected in the very reasonable price for such a rare artefact.

Size: 58cm x 27cm (2' 0" x 11").
