Antique Edwardian Kidney Shaped Writing Table Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique mahogany kidney shaped writing table has loads of character & is very fine quality. It could actually could also be used as a dressing table too. It has a hand tooled leather writing surface, below which are three drawers with original brass handles that have fine dovetails & are oak lined. There is a shaped stretcher between the two supports, which help give it more stability. It also has sabre shaped legs with brass capped casters. This desk is polished all the way around, so looks good from all angles. I would date it to around the 1890-1910 period & it's in excellent condition throughout.
