The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, with an unusual regulator, which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has details of medals previously won by Zenith, together with details about the movement.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The galonne case (silver with rose gold wash highlights) is in lovely condition. The back cover opens up to reveal the Zenith stamp together with Swiss hallmarks for 800 silver.

The lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed with the Zenith name - it is in beautiful condition. The ornate hands are a charming feature although one is probably a later replacement as it is a slightly different shade of gold.
