A Superb Quality Mahogany Inlaid Edwardian Period Open Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb quality mahogany inlaid Edwardian Period open bookcase. The upper section having a triple moulded gallery above a wonderful marquetry inlaid panel. Having a fixed shelf and an adjustable shelf each with triple moulded reeded edge. The lower section having two beautifully figured mahogany panelled doors with chequer band inlay opening to reveal storage area, raised on square tapering supports. This bookcase is solid mahogany through and was made by the renown cabinet makers Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple, stamped to the lock circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 24" wide x 52.5" high x 11" deep

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent original condition, fully cleaned and waxed
