Description

A handsome antique mahogany open armchair or desk chair dating from the early Victorian period. The curved oblong top-rail and crossbar above a drop-in seat on turned front legs. The drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered in a good quality soft tan coloured Italian leather. Very solid and sturdy, would make a wonderful desk chair.

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Very solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly reupholstered in Italian leather. The frame appears to have been recently restored and lightly polished.
