Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.

We hope to put improved photographs on very soon.
The light has been professionally rewired to comply with UK regulations and the electrician fixed the gas tap into position to prevent damage to the cable, and it takes standard bayonet lightbulbs.

It has a round hook at the top (see the main photo) to make it easy to attach to a ceiling hook and we can supply a darkened modern ceiling attachment if required. The shade fitting at the base is standard and can be used with both old glass lampshades, or modern fabric ones. We've used one of our old shades to show how it would look with a glass shade. The price doesn't include the shade.

As we no longer sell through a retail outlet, the light can be viewed by appointment with us in Surrey, alternatively the postage and packing has been included in the price for the UK mainland only. For remote parts of the UK or abroad, please contact us for a quote for delivery.
