The rectangular mahogany and satinwood inlaid glazed door opening to reveal a silk lined interior with two plate glass shelves. The lower section is of bow front outline, the top having classical central shell inlaid paterae and ribbon and swag marquetry detail which is repeated in the two mahogany lined bow front drawers with gilt brass swan neck handles. Supported on fiddleback mahogany square tapering supports with spade feet and having trailing harebell inlays, stamped by the makers Edwards & Roberts. England circa 1890-1900
