Antique English Miniature Chamberstick - London 1891

19th century
Sold by Puckerings
Description

Attention all novelty or miniature collectors! This is a fabulous novelty English sterling silver miniature chamber stick with a full hallmark for London 1891. The makers initials J B are present, I believe for the silversmith, James Barber.

It is unsure if this was made purely as a novelty or miniature collectible or indeed used as a go to bed or like with a tiny taper. Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/8" in diameter including the little circular handle x 1 1/2" tall.

In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
