A Good Mahogany Victorian Period Antique Pedestal Desk

Description

A good mahogany Victorian Period antique pedestal desk. Having a rectangular top veneered in mahogany with a thumb moulded edge and with an inset honey coloured leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail. The nine rectangular drawers all having mahogany drawer linings and retaining the original turned mahogany drawer pulls. The pedestals having mahogany veneered sides and backs, the whole supported on a mahogany veneered plinth. English circa 1880-1890

Dimensions: 47" wide x 29" deep x 29" high (kneehole 23" high x 22" wide)

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, the leather has been replaced approximately 20-30 years ago. Cleaned and waxed. There is no key for this desk.
