The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Very fine detailing is engraved to show the leaves on the trees, roof tiles and blades of grass. The foot has been prettily decorated also with embossing and engraving. A very good gauge of silver.

Hallmarked for London 1817. It measures 3 1/2" high and 2 7/8" wide and weighs 200g/6.4ozt. Condition is very good, there is the very slightest bruise to the foot on one side but no other damage or dents. The hallmarks are a bit rubbed but legible (maker initials not fully legible). It is engraved beneath with "Margaret Ronald's Crowdy".
