Description

Handsome early 19th.c. rosewood side table c.1835. Stands flat against the wall as a good looking console table or turn and open the top to make a useful square table for four with a blue baize for playing cards and storage space below. Well figured rosewood veneered top and crossbanded edge. Crisp carved scrolling detail to the front apron. Raised on a tapered column with acanthus leaf carving and a shaped base on four carved bun feet with brass castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops
