An interesting and somewhat 'speculative' set of 5 French hand-carved boxwood WOODEN BUSTS, depicting various dignitaries, including: Napoleon; Bacchus and three others not yet identified.

Each is set upon a turned wooden socle base and signed: Ch. (Charles) Dessertine, Sculpteur. Certainly French and probably very early 20th century. Priced for the set of five, each measures 4.75ins high (12cms).
