Description

This beautiful ANTIQUE MAHOGANY WINDOW SEAT dates from circa 1830.
It is of simple, yet very attractive, design. Unlike many of those available this WINDOW SEAT has not been altered over the years and remains as the original craftsman intended (please see photographs of the frame before reupholstery).
It retains its original sewn horsehair cushion which has been recovered with 'Chelsea Floral' Fabric with matching piping and button tufts. The cushion is reversible.
The WINDOW SEAT is very sturdy, of good, original colour and with no breaks.

Height of Seat (including cushion): 17 inches (43 cm)
Width: 35.5 inches (90 cm)
Depth: 14.25 inches (36 cm)
