Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The carved fall front drops down on brass arms to reveal pigeon holes and a small drawer to the interior. It has a working lock and key to the fall. A really good quality bureau, in good condition with beautifully figured quarter sawn oak.
