Stunning original antique Swedish chaise longue dating from around the 1830-40''s period. This piece is in great condition & structurally sound. It has just come over from Sweden & has been French polished, plus re-upholstered. It''s classic Regency in design, with strong sabre legs & a scrolled around bolstered end. The frame is flame mahogany, whilst the back is not really meant to be viewed & is stained pine. Originally, the backs were left open, but we have had it covered too, because it looks better that way & could also stand out in a room.
