The frieze with a central rectangular frieze drawer with a flaming urn, attendant griffins and foliate marquetry and pen-work detail, with further ribbon and swag detail to the ends. The three rectangular doors each with bevelled glass and opening to reveal an adjustable shelved interior, relined in fine quality water marked silk. The doors also having the finest marquetry and pen-work panels depicting dolphins and foliate inlaid detail, the end panels with bevelled glass and satinwood banded detail. The whole supported on splayed feet. This cabinet has been constructed using the finest mahogany throughout as you would expect from the premier cabinet makers Edwards & Roberts of London. English circa 1900
