A Mahogany Edwardian Period Antique Linen Press

1900 - 1920
Description

A mahogany Edwardian Period antique linen press. The upper section with a stepped and moulded cornice above twin panelled rectangular mahogany doors each with finely figured mahogany oval panels and chequer band inlaid detail. The doors open to reveal four mahogany lined sliding trays. The lower section with two short over two long oak lined drawers with circular brass backplate handles. The drawer fronts veneered in figured mahogany with chequer band string inlaid detail. Having solid mahogany sides the whole supported on shaped ogee feet, English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 48" wide x 22" deep x 84" high

Condition: This wardrobe is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed.
