Description

A really magnificent quality picture frame made from heavy bronze and retaining the original untouched gilded finish. The quality is evident as you lift the frame, the pieced or reticulated surround is most tactile with beautiful hand chasing.

The frame dates to the late nineteenth century, around 1880/1890 and stands on it's original folding easel.

Excellent original condition measuring 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" with a glazed aperture measuring 5 3/4" x 3 1/4".
