Late Victorian Freestanding Writing Table

Description

An unusual late 19th.Century mahogany double sided writing table of serpentine shape with single drawer and opposing dummy drawer, both with carved decoration and brass handles. Unusually to each end are open book shelves again with decorative carving. The whole standing on 4 cabriole legs with carved knees and shaped feet. The top has a replaced serpentine shaped and hand dyed green leather with blind and gold tooling. Condition- Very good. Sizes-Width inc. book shelves 41''/104cm. Height...30''/ 104cm. Depth...23.5''/60cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £48.
