Antique Georgian Oak Hanging Corner Cupboard

18th century
Description

A handsome antique George 3rd hanging corner cupboard in oak with mahogany banding and shell inlay. With a shaped panelled door with a cross-banded mahogany inlay below a moulded cornice. With 3 shelves to the interior and working lock and key. Lovely warm patina to the oak and a useful size. A good example dating from Circa 1800.

Construction/Wood:

Oak with mahogany crossbanding

Condition Report:

Nice age and colour to the oak. Scuffs and marks commensurate with age. Some worm holes to the door which have been trated with worm killer. Escutcheon to door not present. Some old filled nail holes to sides.

Depth Middle Front of Door to Back Corner: 16 inches

Depth Edge of Front to Back Corner: 19.5 inches
