A Hardwood Chinese Carved Camphor Lined Trunk

1900 - 1920
Description

A hardwood Chinese carved camphor lined trunk. The hinged top having a wonderful rectangular carved panel depicting dragons at play within a typical Oriental carved border, opening to reveal a camphor lined interior. Having carved panelled ends, back and front with further finely carved dragons. The whole supported on well carved squat cabriole feet. Chinese circa 1900-1920

Dimensions: 40" wide x 20" deep x 23" high

Condition: This trunk is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed. The lock is present but no key.
