Fine Quality Pair Antique English Sterling Silver Napkin Rings - 1896

Description

A superb pair of Victorian napkin rings made from a heavy gauge of English sterling silver; the pair weigh a combined weight of 2.17 Troy Ounces / 67.6 Grams.

Each is beautifully decorated with a series of a very English Tudor Rose design, each hand chased. The front has a vacant cartouche for personal engraving by your local silversmith should you wish.

Both are hallmarked for London 1898 and each has the makers initials, WG over JL into a shield, for the top notch silversmiths, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co: William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman.

Excellent condition, each measuring 1 3/4" in diameter x 1 1/8" thick.
