This Chest has a superb patina, it is stamped Gillow of Lancaster on the top edge of the drawer
The chest has two short drawers at the top and three graduated long drawers beneath, the drawers have beautifully figures fronts, these are set off with pierced brass escutcheons and matching swan neck handles, and it stands on a bracket footed plinth
This is a very good looking piece, the chest of good solid construction it has no creaks, splits or woodworm, it is in good condition with few age related marks
The chest measures 31” high 39” wide and 22” deep
