The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a grade 610 stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it also has the serial number 24662318 which dates it back to 1924. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison.
There are some small marks to the case commensurate with the age of the piece but overall the condition is very acceptable for a 1920s pocket watch.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
The signed white enamel dial is in lovely condition and it has the special half hunter hour hand so that when the front cover is closed, the wearer can decipher which hand is the minute hand and which is the hour hand.
